Tacoma Rainiers' mascot Rhubarb made a special visit to Washington Elementary recently, where he surprised fifth-grader Isaac E., this year’s Tacoma Rainiers jersey design winner. Isaac will receive their own personalized jersey and throw out the first pitch at the game. Their design will be worn by the Rainiers players during Tacoma Public Schools Night at the Rainiers on May 29, 2025.

Jerseys will also be auctioned during the game to support access to Beyond the Bell and Club B Programs.

TPS students can participate in a pre-game parade on the field and then watch the Rainiers take on the Salt Lake City Bees with friends and family.
